Product Overview

Charge is AgConcepts' most energetic starter product — a high-octane blend of simple and complex carbohydrates, free amino acids, biological stimulants, and plant hormones formulated to ignite early-season growth when conditions are cool and biological activity is slow.

Early-season stress is one of the leading yield limiters in row crops. Cold soils, compaction, seedling disease pressure, and transplant shock all slow establishment and steal yield potential that cannot be recovered later. Charge directly addresses this bottleneck by providing plants with immediately available energy and growth signals exactly when they need it most.

The carbohydrate fractions in Charge serve as a rapid energy source for both the plant and beneficial rhizosphere microorganisms. The amino acid fraction provides nitrogen in the most efficient plant-available form, bypassing the entire soil nitrogen conversion cycle. Plant hormone fractions — including natural cytokinins and auxins — signal the plant to accelerate root and shoot development.

Charge is highly versatile: apply as an in-furrow treatment at planting, as a 2x4 starter band, or as an early foliar at V3-V6 in corn or early-season in soybeans. The liquid formulation is compatible with most fertilizers, herbicides, and biological programs.

“Better early stands than anything I've tried in-furrow”

I've tried most of the in-furrow biological starters on the market. Charge is the first one that consistently shows up in stand counts. On my corn, I run Charge at 8 oz/acre with my starter fertilizer.
